THe ALPHA ETA FOUNDATION

Greetings Alpha Eta Brothers,

The Alpha Eta chapter has been a staple on the most prestigious campus of Florida A&M University since December 1935. Most definitely our cause speeds on it's way in light of new struggles that the new millennium has placed upon our most beloved Alpha Eta. The chapter has struggled at times, but has survived and will continue to fight and maintain its position at the top of the Pan - Hellenic council on FAMU's campus.

In an effort to not only bridge the gap between the older and younger brothers, but to keep graduate brothers in the loop and assist the current collegiate brothers this summer we will establish the Alpha Eta Foundation. This is a way for brothers to assist the chapter once a year monetarily to assist with expense that the chapter may incur over a one-year time frame.

With a donation of $50 per year you will receive your own personal chapter report to you show what projects the chapter has taken on and been a part of that year. And you will receive a chapter financial report that lay's out exactly what monies where used and what it was used for. Also included in this package is an updated phone list for all the Alpha Eta brothers that can be found so that we never lose touch again.

Now a $75 donation would include all the things that where mentioned before and the updated "Hard Alpha Eta" T-shirt for that school year that the collegiate brothers design on a yearly basis. This way you can walk around not only sporting your fraternity letters with pride, but showing everybody that you are a part of the most prestigious "Hard Alpha Eta" chapter of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity Inc.

Not only do you get all of these things when you give back to your chapter, but it puts you in on the ground floor to help establish a FBS fraternity house that the chapter will own and manage. Also all excess monies combined with monies from car wash's and party revenue will go towards Alpha Eta's grand 70th anniversary celebration. Where we will not only unveil a newly designed Sigma Plot on campus, but a new portrait on the Greek wall. This celebration to be held the week of April 3-9, 2005 plans to be a great week of events hopefully with many brothers coming back to be a part of it. More information will be forth coming, and info on how your name can be placed permanently on the Sigma plot.
